Ife Ashabo is the owner of Stafford Immigration Group and Managing Attorney for the firm. As an experienced U.S. immigration lawyer, Mr. Ashabo practices exclusively in the field of U.S. immigration law, and has a wide-range of knowledge and experience with nonimmigrant visas, immigrant visas, investment visas, citizenship and naturalization, U.S. waivers, employment based immigration, family-based immigration, federal compliance with immigration laws, and consulate assistance.
Ife works with both individual clients and companies of all sizes to facilitate entry into the U.S. under various types of classifications, including but not limited to TN visas, L1 visas, O visas, P visas, H1B visas, E1 visas, E2 visas, and green cards through employment, entrepreneurship, and investment (EB-5 Program). Mr. Ashabo also works with families and individuals to resolve their U.S. immigration issues, including obtaining family based green cards and U.S. waivers due to criminality, misrepresentation and removal.
Mr. Ashabo attended John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and graduated in the top ten percent his class. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a member of the Illinois Bar, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and is a licensed Foreign Legal Consultant in the province of Ontario.
Monty’s practice is dedicated exclusively to US immigration. He has extensive experience representing clients in a diverse array of immigration matters, including family and employment based immigration, nonimmigrant visas, and naturalization. His practice is primarily focused on corporate and investment visas, and he works closely with small and large size commercial enterprises all across Canada.
Monty Silley Monty graduated from the University of British Columbia where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a double-major in Political Science and Philosophy. He received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law where he was an Executive Editor of the Canada-United States Law Journal. He is admitted to the New York State Bar and has also obtained a Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada National Committee on Accreditation. Monty is able to communicate proficiently in Spanish and Portuguese.
Eric Tibbs Eric specializes in all types of immigration cases, including applications for permanent residence, family sponsorships, work visa applications, and citizenship cases. Eric also provides a full range of immigration litigation services, including hearings and appeals for foreign nationals currently in the United States.
Eric received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa College of Law and graduated from the University Illinois, Urbana Champaign, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois, the Northern District Court of Illinois and the Central District Court of Illinois.
Syeda represents and advises Canadian companies and individuals in all areas of U.S. immigration and cross-border law. With more than 14 years of experience handling cases exclusively in the field of U.S. Immigration, Syeda has helped thousands of individuals resolve their U.S. immigration matters. Syeda has expertise in all areas of U.S. immigration law, including temporary work visas, business and investment visas, employment and investment based immigration, marriage-based green cards, family-based immigration matters, and U.S. waivers. She has also represented clients before the U.S. Immigration Court in Detroit in a wide range of matters, including deportation cases, U.S. waivers, refugee applications, and adoptions.
Ms. Hamdani graduated from Oakland University with a double major in History and Political Science. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. She is a licensed attorney in the State of Michigan and a Member of the Michigan State Bar Association. In addition, she is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and a long-time active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
Douglas A. Cowgill is an attorney with more than six years of experience focusing in the area of US immigration law. Previously, he worked for one of the largest immigration firms in North America, assisting individuals and corporations of all sizes with a vast array of immigration services, including nonimmigrant work visas, green cards, waivers of inadmissibility and renunciation applications. He is a licensed attorney in the State of Washington in the United States, and is also licensed as a Practitioner of Foreign Law with the British Columbia Law Society. He is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and attended law school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2010.
Attorney Cowgill has firs-hand knowledge of the immigration process, having immigrated to Canada from the US. He understands the level of importance that an immigration application can have both for individuals and companies conducting cross-border business. He strives to handle every case as if it were his own, understanding that a client’s matter is just as important to them as his case was to him when he immigrated to Canada.
