Assessing your immigration options
Stafford Immigration Group provides U.S. immigration services to Canadian individuals, families and businesses. We assess the available options in light of each client’s residence, nationality, family relationships, employment and previous U.S. travel.
You do not need to identify a visa category before contacting our firm. A description of your objectives and intended timing allows us to identify the matters that must be reviewed before recommending an immigration option.
Temporary plans and permanent residence
A temporary classification authorizes a particular purpose, such as qualifying work, study or a visit. Permanent residence is a different process, with its own eligibility requirements. Some situations require planning for both. A visa, an approved petition and permission to remain in the United States are related but distinct documents or decisions.
